If you are traveling to Jeju Island with a family of 3 or more, or if you have multiple large suitcases, you must read this carefully.

🚨 CRITICAL WARNING: Luggage Refusal on Jeju Buses!
Unlike airport buses in Seoul, regular express buses (101/102) and local buses in Jeju have very strict luggage rules. If your suitcase is over 24 inches or you have multiple bags, the driver will legally refuse your boarding. For groups and heavy packers, a Taxi or Private Van is your only survival option.

If you are traveling solo or as a couple with normal-sized luggage, catching a standard taxi at the airport is easy.

  • Where to catch: Exit Gate 3 (1F Arrival Hall) and cross the crosswalk to the Taxi Stand. There are separate lines for Jeju City(Short distance) and Seogwipo(Long distance).
  • Estimated Fare (to Jungmun/Seogwipo): Approx. 40,000 - 50,000 KRW.
  • Payment: All taxis accept foreign credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) and T-money.

🚐 2. Private Airport Transfer / Jumbo Taxi (For Families & Big Luggage)

If you are a group of 3-6 people, a standard taxi will be too small for your luggage. Waiting in the long taxi line after a tiring flight is frustrating. Pre-booking a Private Airport Van is highly recommended by local experts.
